One of my good stumble friends, TimberWolfGirl, who also grew up in the same city as I did and played softball in the same circle, made a great post about an Eco-Friendly Water Bottle.
Now, as I said, water is essential for life, and especially for natural weight loss. Every bodily function requires water to take place! We are made up of 70% water!!! We must replenish and drink a lot of water everyday!
Okay, now, not sure if you’ve heard, but plastic is not only bad for you to drink out of, especially if you’re rewashing the bottles or freezing them over and over, but plastic is also very bad for the environment.
So, what the heck do we do? Well, if you don’t know, aluminum is the most prevalent substance on the planet (in the earth’s crust). It is durable, eco-friendly because you can use it over and over almost forever, and it is tasteless, whether it’s water, sodas, juices or alcohol you decide to put into it.
Okay…I’m sold…Now, where do I get one of these aluminum water bottles?
A company called SIGG uses recycled aluminum to make such water bottles, that are really kind of stylish, in Frauenfeld, Switzerland.
Their slogan is: It’s not what you drink, it’s what you drink it in.
“Recycled Aluminum?”, you ask. Yup…It takes 95% less energy to recycle aluminum than it does to mine and create the bottle in the first place.
Okay…it can’t just be the style factor that’s their unique selling position, can it?
Nope, the point is that they are eco-friendly and THEY DON’T LEAK! Yahhh! Someone figured out the Rocket Science of the leaking bottle! Amazing!
Apparently, it’s all in the lid! Impressive, No?
