It’s Day 15, Phase 2 of The Maker’s Diet.
Okay, it’s the 1st day of Phase 2 and The Maker’s Diet actually gets easier, instead of harder.
Acceptable food choices have greatly expanded with more fruits, vegetables, different oils and condiments too.
Meats pretty much stay the same, including chicken, turkey and fish.
Still no grains or starch in this phase though.
* Note: I left a comment after one of our last posts explaining that we didn’t realize grains were a no-no, so I apologize for any confusion, as we did have a few slices of organic whole wheat bread throughout phase 1. Oops!
For breakfast, we had scrambled eggs and fruit juice.
Lunch…I know, I know…we got busy again and had a few errands to run – no lunch, but we had some clementines as snacks and organic green tea with Goji berries in it.
For dinner, we’re going to have some tilapia with lentils. It’s going to be fantastic! I love tilapia – it actually tastes a lot like lobster for me – “poor man’s lobster”…LOL!
* Trivia: Did you know that the Seminole Indians started to propagate tilapia in the Florida Everglades?
We’re still here, and still happy with this diet…It is still satisfying, never boring and very delicious!

Okay…Tonight, I picked up my mom from the airport…
It wound up being quite late and we were too tired to cook, so we agreed to cheat this one meal and get a Hot N’ Ready pizza from Little Caesar’s.
Let’s face it…everyone cheats on their diet a little bit…
Honestly, it’s your diet that has to work for you…If things don’t work out one time, that’s okay…
Just stay consistent most of the time!

@Kimberly – Hey there Kimberly. It’s all good to have a little fun… Actually it’s needed to keep yourself sane… Many people cheat on their diet then just give up and totally abandon it because they had one bad day.
Maybe they should think of it as a good day. As long as they have more good days than bad they will start to see success, then the success will snow ball. And they’ll start to lose more weight doing less and easier.
