You lean body mass is: total body weight in pounds – total body fat in pounds. Once you have this number, try to eat about 1 1 1/2 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass. And eat a balanced diet of 40-40-20. This means that 40% of your calories come from protein, 40% from good carbs, & 20% from good fats. Be very careful not to drink your calories. With your meals, drink low to no calorie drinks.

2. Snacks that help you to lose weight: Some snacks that help you to lose quickly are fruits. Any type of berry is the best type of snack that you can have. Berries have a huge health benefit also, they are sweet, provide natural complex energy (carbs), and can be made into all kinds of different variations and be eaten with all kinds of food. Beside just eating them raw, you can mix and match them, cook them, eat them chilled.

3. The 3 most important exercises that help you to lose weight are squats (any variation of them), bench press (or push ups), and running fast. These probably shock you because you thought to lose weight that you should focus on treadmills, elliptical machines, or jogging for ever. Not true. You lose weight by increasing your metabolism which helps your body to burn more calories at rest and during exercise. This is by far more calories than any long “fat burning” exercise can ever help you burn.
