I got the comment the other day and I started to make this detailed reply, but I have decided to turn it into a full post so that everyone can benefit from these tips.

Hey Erica, this post is for you.
You are on THE right track. You see, there is nothing anyone can do for you about losing weight until you get to the point where You want to do it. No one can make you. They can encourage you, they can support you, they can even give you that little nudge you need to get going… But ultimately the decision comes down to you.
7 Tips To Help You Lose Weight Fast
1. Diet (I know everyone says this, but it’s first.) Try to cook more of your own meals. Don’t eat out much. On a daily basis, I save as much as 60%-75% of my total calories by just cooking at home. For example: If a meal has 750 calories eating out, I can enjoy that very same meal at home for about 187-300 calories. That’s a savings of over 450+ calories for every meal, and sometimes many more. If you’re in a rush, make a tuna or salmon sandwich. It’s quick and healthy. Remember, that a pound of fat is 3,500 calories. When you can knock out 300 here and 500 there, you are very much on your way.
2. Exercise. Don’t start off trying to do a whole lot, then get burnt out and not want to do anything anymore. First, just try to make a habit of working out. So, start going to the gym, going for brisk walk, slow jog, or a bike ride at least 3 times per week for at least 30 minutes. Then, follow those exercises with this circuit (meaning no rest in between sets): a set of push ups 10-15 repetitions for females and 15-25 for guys. Then, walking lunges – 10 on each leg. Then, do 10 dumb bell shoulder presses, followed by 15 crunches. This is a good way to get started. Do this for 4 weeks. Pick a time and do it at that time everyday. Try to find a partner that can do it with you. Do NOT miss a workout. What you are trying to do is establish a habit of working out…and retrain your brain to think, “this is not so bad”.
3. Don’t Eat Fast Food. I know this seems like a repeat, BUT it’s that important! Please, do not eat fast food. I know you’re going to cheat on your Diet, that is ok, but not for fast food and don’t do it during this 4 week phase. A Big Mac has 540 calories, 510 on a Quarter Pounder w/Cheese, and 380 on a Fillet O Fish. And you get another 500 calories from the French Fries which also has 25 grams of fat. You will have cravings, so here’s how you overcome them…
4. When you get hungry…Eat, BUT don’t eat fast food, sweets, or fried food. It’s ok to eat when you are hungry, but try to eat a meal that you make at home, or if you just want a snack get a smoothie, fruit, or make a sandwich. Fill that gap, just do it with something that isn’t high in calories, and will clog your arteries or bowels – Something that you will regret.
5. Patience. It took a while to put the weight on, so it will take a little time to get it all off. You will have good weeks and bad weeks, but don’t give up. Stay consistent and steady. Before you know it, you will be fitting into those skinny jeans and looking good in a swim suit in no time.
6. The Master Cleanse. If you haven’t noticed lately, detoxifying your body and cleansing it is all the go. Why? Because you’re body is full of harmful toxins from pollution in the environment, bad foods, cleaners, normal household products, and many, many other things. Over time, it becomes just too much for the body to handle and to fight off. Also, there can be as much as 20-40 pounds of waste just sitting in your colon. It has been known that fast food hamburgers eaten over 10 ago, even 15 or 20 years ago, can still be sitting in your colon. So, to start being more healthy and losing weight fast, you must first detox and master cleanse the colon. That way, you really know what you’re dealing with. There are a ton of products out there so do your research and consult with a physician before getting started.
7. Believe. This is so so important. You have to believe in yourself. You have to believe that you can do this. Because if you really want it, then YOU CAN!
