For instance:  Michael Phelps has to eat over 4,000 calories a day because of how active he is.  If he didn&#039;t he wouldn&#039;t be able to perform the way he does for lack of nutrition and energy.

But if he continued to eat like that without being active he would become out of shape and overweight.

Carbs aren&#039;t the enemy per se, it&#039;s not being balanced.  And I totally agree about the sugar... it&#039;s just not good all around.</description>
