Will You Take The Special K Challenge?

The Special K Diet is quite the new fad diet lately…

But I think it may have some staying power.

Why?

The Special K Challenge…

Is based on your Body Mass Index.

It helps you find out what your BMI is and the calorie intake you should consume.

They encourage you to diet right.

It’s cheap.

They give you a sample meal plan and recipes which actually look pretty tasty and of course…

…include Special K cereal.

Special K has 120 calories per serving.
Special K also has 0 fat grams per serving.
Specail K has 160 mg or sodium and 12 grams of sugar.

I actually love Special K and I think this a very interesting way to diet. It’s funny because my dad loves cereal…actually my whole family does.

I first saw this diet on the cover of Woman’s World, were a lady used it to lose over 150 pounds. I buy Woman’s World all the time, but I just can’t seem to find where I put that issue.

But if you will put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

Anyway, The biggest fault with this diet is that I think it has to much sodium, preservatives, and sugar.

Yes, the calories are low, but it’s not only about weight loss, it’s about health.

Would I Recommend this diet?

From a cut calorie perspective…yes.

What Would I Change?

I would add more vegetables, fruit, and natural organic products. I would also add more foods that have a high concentration of probiotics and antioxidants.

Identifying a good lose weight diet program is easy. A good one will have a well balanced eating program. A really good one will also encourage moderate exercise.

Very true. To add to that a successful one will encourage a calorie deficit and give ways to increase metabolism.
