Phase 2, Day 16 of The Maker’s Diet

It’s Day 16, Phase 2 of The Maker’s Diet.
Today, for breakfast, Kenney made us berry smoothies with goat’s milk yogurt! Really, really delicious!
Lunch proved to be amazing again with his Creamy Mushroom soup that is out of this world…I had 2 bowls…Yum!
For dinner we had lamb stew, and I don’t even like lamb other than this dish he made us, and a glass of red wine – I know, not supposed to! Ooops…
We tried kefir for the 1st time, and it went into the soup too! Boy is that tasty! It’s tastes like a combination between milk, cream and sour cream…it’s thicker than milk and is not pasteurized. Instead, they use an old Russian recipe to make the milk ingestible and palatable.
I’m really enjoying this 40-day health experience. The flavors just keep on getting better and better.
I’m not used to not eating grains and starches though, as we have to abide by this rule in the 1st 2 phases for sure.
It’s a lot of fun in the kitchen too!
