Phase 1, Day 11 of The Maker’s Diet

It’s Day 11, Phase 1 of The Maker’s Diet.
Last night, we had all of these visions of grandeur of making those Spicy Stuffed Peppers for dinner whilst we were watching the last NFL Playoff game between the Steelers and the Ravens.
However, we were so satisfied with our late lunch – those awesome Chicken Fajitas, and were still full, so we opted for a snack of cherries for me, and Kenney made himself a smoothie.
This morning we had a great goat cheese omelet with steamed veggies.
We actually ended up “fasting” for lunch because we got so busy working online that before we knew it, it was time to make dinner…NOW!
I say “fasting” because when you fast, you are supposed to do it with prayer geared towards it, and make sure you’re drinking the fluids necessary to cleanse and sustain you. Therefore, it’s really something you plan out. We didn’t plan this one; it was incidental…
A fast is a “break” for your digestive system. A way for it to “catch up” with things, so to speak. That’s why “breakfast” is called that…It’s a break in your fast you had while you slept all night long.
So, e’re going to watch 24 tonight at 9 pm EST, and that gives us enough time to make those Spicy Stuffed Peppers for dinner and a salad to go with it. Yummy! I can’t wait…Now I’m starved! LOL
I guess it would have helped if we had those fucoPROTEIN bars…maybe we’d have remembered…LOL
